Splashes of colour, Animal Prints and Neo-Gothic

Summer Looks 2019

Looking at the trends for this summer feels like a walk on memory lane. Don’t get me wrong, I love them, but I can’t hide the fact that they remember me of all the fashion magazines I was stealing from my mother. Those are my favourites so far:

Wild Prints

First of all, I was never a fan of animal prints, I just recently came to accept them and actually buy a piece. But be aware, animal print can easily fall in the bad fashion category, you can end up pulling a look even worse than the ones from Coachella. What made me change my mind is actually the Versace Collection from 2018, it was like a new innovation for me, it opened my eyes and gave me enough courage to experiment. Those are my favourite looks so far:

Coloured tartan

2019 was the year of changes for me, and my personal style and wardrobe were no exception. I slightly moved from black and white from head to toe and I added bits of colours at first through accessories, purses and bags. It was the perfect timing considering that I can easily move to punk rock with a pair of coloured tartan trousers or skirt and a white shirt. I used to wear this a lot a while ago and I’m really glad it’s back again.

Favourite looks so far:

My personal favourite so far because you can easily get creative with it and personalise it as you wish, making your own edgy style. All black with an animal print skirt? Yes please! Even though it is not something I would wear during summer, I melt in a white dress, I really don’t want to know what happens all in black, it is a look that I always adopt as soon as September and replace it around May. Neo-Gothic will always be a first choice for me, I feel I can express myself, therefore I feel more confident.

Summer Looks 2019

Wild Prints

In primul rand as vrea sa va spun ca nu am fost niciodata fana a animal printului.

In trecut obisnuiam sa port asta foarte des si ma bucur ca a revenit inapoi moda.
